Ways to Connect
Community is an extremely important element for us as a church. Most Sundays we meet in different home churches with 20-30 others, building deep community and friendships with each other. This is where life-changing relationships are forged. We also gather every month for different events where all our home churches come together, and we can see those we don’t see every week. Right now, we have three primary ways that we intentionally cultivate community, in addition to our monthly worship nights.
Men’s Breakfasts
Women need a community of other women around them in order to love, strengthen and support each other. Women are God-designed, purpose-intended, significant, loved and all share a desire to be in community. Community is where we grow. We grow deeper with the Father, with one another, and deeper in our faith. Every six weeks we have a Woman's Night with appetizers and beverages, a short discussion time, and fellowship!
Gravity Dinners
There is a noticeable absence of God-honoring men who lead in our world today. Men are designed to lead in our homes, in our marriages, in our churches and in our world. Every 5th weekend our men meet to build the leadership mentality, to strengthen relationships, and to create and maintain unity among each other. We spend this time over breakfast with roundtable discussions and conversations led by a facilitator. These breakfasts are open to all men, even if Shiloh is not their home church.
Women’s Nights
Gravity Dinners are a chance for different people and families from the church to spend some time in close fellowship together that don’t normally spend much time together during our normal weekly home church meetings. They are close gatherings of a small group of people held in different host homes throughout the church.
