Who We Are

Shiloh Christian Church is a non-denominational Christian church of home churches serving the Fort Collins, Timnath, Windsor and Loveland areas of Northern Colorado. The mission of Shiloh is to Build Faith, Restore Hope and Show Love. Part of the way we do this is through putting our money into ministries instead of a mortgage. We believe that the Bible is the absolute authority of God and that those who follow it will be blessed. Shiloh is made up of people of all ages. Families, college students, and everything in between.

What’s It Like at Shiloh?

What kind of church are you?

Shiloh is a non-denominational Christian Church. For a better understanding of some of our specific beliefs, visit the “What We Believe” page

What do people usually wear?

We are pretty casual. You will see everything from t-shirts and jeans to khakis and dress shirts but wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

What if I’m not sure about this Jesus thing?

Everybody starts their journey somewhere. Regardless of where you are or what you believe, please come and check us out. And of course, feel free to contact us at any time if you have questions.

What types of programs do you have for my kids?

The home church model is a unique and vibrant format for meeting with each other. While our format changes the dynamics of some programs and may vary slightly from home to home, the goal is clear: growing a community of faithful followers of Jesus Christ. Children's Ministry is a priority of that goal. Along with monthly fellowship events for children, we have developed an intentional ministry to our students from birth through fifth grade. Within our home churches we offer the space for our children to participate with the whole community of believers through meals together and worshiping with their parents. During the message for adults, they have the opportunity to go to class and have a message specifically for them.

When we gather for our once-a-month worship service, with all of our home churches, we follow the same format (family-style worship, communion, and fellowship with an option for a children's lesson for a small portion of the service). We do however offer a nursery for the entire service if it is desired for children aged birth through 5 years old. Developing relationships with all ages is an important part of being Christ-followers. Watching the faith of a child is a beautiful thing and giving our children the tools they need to continue to build a relationship with their Savior is our genuine and prayerful hope, desire, and plan.

What does a typical Sunday morning look like?

Sunday mornings are a highlight of the week for us! We meet in designated host homes each Sunday, sometimes with breakfast before or lunch after. We then spend time worshiping together, time teaching, and then a time of communion together.

Will I be asked for money while I’m there?

We want the act of giving to be something we do out of our appreciation for what God has done for us and our trust in Him that He is the provider of everything. We do show an informational slide at the end of each video with information on how to donate, but we don’t “pass the plate” and you will not be directly asked to give.
